OJA Water Brings Tankless Reverse Osmosis to Colombian Homes with Optimos 600GPD Pre-Order

Medellín, Colombia – May 14, 2026 / OJA Water /

OJA Water has opened pre-orders for the Optimos 600GPD, a tankless under-sink reverse osmosis system designed specifically for Colombian households, priced at $1,600,000 COP following a 20% launch discount. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in April 2026, marking the company’s formal entry into the residential water filtration market in the country.

A Compact System Built for Colombian Homes

The Optimos 600GPD is an under-sink, tankless reverse osmosis unit engineered to fit standard kitchen cabinet configurations without requiring a storage tank. The system is designed to remove heavy metals, bacteria, and chlorine from household tap water, addressing contamination concerns that affect many urban and semi-urban areas across the country.

Unlike traditional reverse osmosis systems that rely on pressurized holding tanks, the Optimos 600GPD produces filtered water on demand. This design eliminates the risk of bacterial growth inside storage tanks and reduces the physical footprint of the unit under the sink. The 600 gallons-per-day output capacity is intended to meet the daily consumption and cooking needs of a typical Colombian household without interruption.

The system represents one of the more technically specified Water Purifiers in Colombia currently available for residential pre-order, with the tankless architecture positioned as a functional advantage over older tank-based models still common in the local market.

Launch Pricing and Pre-Order Structure

OJA Water has set the pre-order price at $1,600,000 COP, which reflects a 20% reduction from the standard retail price. The discount applies to units ordered during the launch window, with no public deadline currently announced for when standard pricing will take effect.

“The Optimos 600GPD is priced at $1,600,000 COP during the pre-order phase, and we structured that 20% discount specifically to give early adopters a meaningful incentive,” said Carlos Rivera, General Director of OJA Water. “We expect to ship the first units in April 2026, and every sale in that initial batch also contributes directly to our school donation program.”

Customers placing pre-orders are expected to receive their units as part of the first delivery cycle starting April 2026. OJA Water has not disclosed the total number of pre-order units available at the discounted rate.

Social Program Ties Sales to School Donations

Alongside the product launch, OJA Water is running a structured social initiative tied directly to sales volume. For every 10 units sold, the company donates one Optimos system to a vulnerable school or licensed daycare facility in Colombia.

The program is designed to extend access to clean water beyond private households and into educational environments where children may lack consistent access to filtered drinking water. The donation component is built into the company’s sales model rather than functioning as a separate charitable effort, meaning every batch of 10 residential sales automatically triggers a unit allocation to a qualifying institution.

OJA Water has not published a list of partner schools or the criteria used to identify qualifying facilities, though the company describes the program as part of its broader mission to expand access to reliable Water Purifiers in Colombia across different economic segments.
